It isn’t hard to find Steven Sims making an impact for the Washington Redskins these days.
A few games removed from winning a special teams player of the week honor, Sims will get another big chance on punt returns with wideout Trey Quinn still in concussion protocol, according to ESPN’s John Keim.
It also sounds like the plan is to get Sims even more involved in the base offense, which is understandable considering he’s averaging north of 13 yards per catch on limited touches right now.
Given the explosiveness we’ve seen from Sims on his kickoff return for a touchdown of more than 90 yards, plus plenty of other examples, it’s a safe bet fans will again see something exciting from him in Week 14.
