On the opening night of the 2022-23 NBA season, the Golden State Warriors raised a banner at San Francisco’s Chase Center and the team was presented with their 2022 championship rings in a special pregame ceremony.
Members from the 2021-22 team that have moved on to different places and weren’t on hand on opening night will receive their rings at some point during the 2022-23 campaign.
On Sunday night, a pair of former Golden State coaches received their jewelry from the 2022 title run. Before the Warriors hosted the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night, Steve Kerr presented Mike Brown and Leandro Barbosa with their championship rings.

Brown and Barbosa spent last season on Kerr’s coaching staff. Brown joined Golden State’s bench alongside Kerr as an assistant coach in 2016. Brown helped the Warriors on the way to three championships before taking over as head coach of the Kings during the 2022 offseason.
After retiring from the NBA, Barbosa joined the Warriors as a development coach in 2020. The former Warriors guard followed Brown to Sacramento as an assistant coach.
The Warriors are set to tip off against the Kings at 5:30 PT on Sunday evening in the Bay Area.
