As the New England Patriots are locked in a battle with the Miami Dolphins, they are going to be down a key player for the rest of the game. Per the Patriots, Stephon Gilmore left the game with a knee injury following a passing play toward the end of the first half.
Covering Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mack Hollins, Gilmore slipped and promptly fell to the turf. The pass was incomplete, and the incomplete pass put Miami in a difficult position and the half. Gilmore promptly went to the medical tent, and did not return for the end of the half.

In what has been a battle to this point, the Patriots will have to proceed without one of the best corners in the NFL.
