Stephen Carlson out of first preseason game due to knee injury

In the first half of the first preseason game, the Browns lost tight end Stephen Carlson to a knee injury.

The Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars faced off in the opening preseason game for both teams. While the Browns prepare for what they hope is a march toward a Super Bowl, the Jaguars are turning the page with Urban Meyer at the helm.

Many of Cleveland’s starters were sitting out the game either due to injury or the team just protecting them for her long-term goals. At tight end, Austin Hooper and David Njoku both sat out the game giving Harrison Bryant and Stephen Carlson a chance to make an impact.
