It took all of one game to give us our first meme of the 2020-21 NBA season, and it’s a pretty good one.
The Brooklyn Nets, with Kevin Durant back, blew out the Golden State Warriors 125-99. And as the seconds ticked down, TNT cameras caught Steph Curry looking pretty bummed.
It was understandable. Beyond himself and James Wiseman, Curry didn’t get a ton of help from Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre Jr. and the rest of the Dubs’ supporting cast, and you have to wonder if a thought like, “I wish Klay Thompson was here” crossed his mind at some point.
