Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has been sidelined since February 4th after suffering a lower leg injury against the Mavericks, but he is listed as probable and is expected to return Sunday afternoon for a nationally televised matchup against the Lakers.
Many television pundits expected the Warriors to flounder with Curry out of the lineup, but the team has surged up the standings in recent weeks thanks to a 5-0 run at the Chase Center. Entering Sunday’s game, the Warriors are in fifth place in the Western Conference, four games clear of the Lakers, the first team out of play-in position.
Sunday’s game is set to tip at 12:30 p.m. PT.
