After tallying a game-high 29 points on 11-of-22 shooting from the field with 12 boards against the Iowa Wolves on Wednesday, Santa Cruz Warriors guard Jordan Poole turned to an aerial attack against the Memphis Hustle on Thursday.
On his way to 26 points in Santa Cruz’s sixth consecutive win, the Golden State 2019 first-round pick flashed his athleticism with a pair of highlight-reel dunks. In the first quarter, Poole flew by Memphis big Freddie Gillespie for a vicious one-handed slam.

Following Poole’s emphatic throw down, a pair of his teammates with the Golden State Warriors took notice. On the Warriors’ off day after a four-game road swing, Steph Curry and Juan Toscano-Anderson went to social media to react to Poole’s dunk in the G League bubble.
While Toscano-Anderson dropped the eyeball emoji, the two-time Most Valuable Player chimed in on Poole’s bounce.

When the Santa Cruz guard makes his return to Golden State’s rotation, Curry and Toscano-Anderson could be keeping an eye on Poole for a lob opportunity at the rim.
After the Warriors host the Charlotte Hornets at Chase Center on Friday night, Poole and Santa Cruz will be back on the hardwood at the Disney World campus on Saturday against the Long Island Nets.
