If you looked closely Friday, you’d see that Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was showing off his first signature shoes during the 108-101 win over the Orlando Magic.
The UA Embiid One Origin shoes are black with a fiery looking orange and yellow feature on the side and a gray midsole and outsole.
Across the nation, Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry was ecstatic.
Curry, who has become known as the face of Under Armour and helped it grow into a more prominent basketball shoe and apparel company, tweeted a video in which he copied an Embiid move with great exaggeration and celebrated just like The Process does afterward.
Trust the process! Welcome to the signature shoe family, @JoelEmbiid! #embiid1 @UAbasketball pic.twitter.com/PJoyimqLqT

Under Armour advertised these shoes as “powerful enough for a big man, light enough for a guard, and quick enough to run the court.”
On Friday, they worked for Embiid. The center posted 23 points and 13 rebounds during the win Friday, and had eight free throws in the third quarter alone.
Just another reason for Curry to celebrate.
The Warriors point guard joined Under Armour in 2013 when Nike famously declined to match the company’s offer. He signed an extension in 2015 that locks him up through 2025.
Curry and Embiid are the most notable Under Armour athletes in the NBA today, but others include San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Milles and Orlando Magic center Mo Bamba.
