Tuesday night was a celebration for Steph Curry at Madison Square Garden.
With a jumper in the first quarter against the New York Knicks, the Golden State Warriors guard passed Ray Allen to become the NBA’s new leader in all-time made 3-pointers with 2,974 triples.
While No. 30 took center stage on Tuesday in New York, Curry has a special gift lined up for the players that helped him get to his record-breaking mark.
After the Warriors sealed a 105-96 victory over the Knicks, Curry presented Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala with custom engraved Rolex watches to recognize their help on his journey to the top of the made 3-pointer list.

Both Green and Iguodala rank at the top for assists on 3-pointers during Curry’s career. Green leads the way with nearly 500 assists on made Curry triples. Iguodala sits at second with former Warrior Kevin Durant at third.

According to Dominique Collins, Curry also has a watch for fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson. The injured Golden State wing wasn’t at MSG on Tuesday as he continues to ramp up his rehab before making his long-awaited return alongside Curry in the Warriors’ backcourt.

However, Curry may not be done handing out watches. After Curry snapped Allen’s record, his former teammate had a message for the new 3-point leader.
