According to Pittsburgh Steelers beat writer Gerry Dulac, the shoulder injury suffered by wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster on Sunday is going to send him to the Injured/Reserve list and will essentially end his season.
Smith-Schuster suffered the injury in the second half of the Steelers win over the Denver Broncos. Smith-Schuster took a handoff and on the ensuing collision went down hard.
The reality of this injury is we’ve probably watched Smith-Schuster play his last game in a Steelers uniform. Smith-Schuster returned last season after testing free agency and was betting on himself to be able to cash in this offseason.
Steelers expected to put JuJu Smith-Schuster on injured reserve and are fearful he will miss rest of the season after injuring his shoulder vs Broncos, per sources.
