In an offseason filled with high-profile additions, the Pittsburgh Steelers quietly added veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson. The addition of Robinson could prove to be invaluable to this young group of skill-position players and he talked about what he hopes to add to the team.

“Being able to help these guys out with some of the experience that I’ve had in different situations, on the field and off the field”I like to give as much knowledge to some of my younger teammates as possible. Being a vet in this league and to be able to play, now going into my 10th year, I feel like I’ve gained so much knowledge on the field and off the field and I’m always looking forward to passing that along.”

In his nine seasons, Robinson has 528 career receptions. He topped 100 receptions in 2020 and has had at least 1,100 receiving yards three times.

Pittsburgh has Diontae Johnson and George Pickens but we expect plenty of Robinson in three-wide sets as he could be Kenny Pickett’s most reliable target, especially on those ever-important possession downs.
