Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced on Friday that the Ravens will start quarterback Tyler Huntley on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lamar Jackson will miss another week with his ankle injury.
This will be Huntley’s fourth start of the season. He’s 1-2 as a starter and has shown a nice arm and excellent mobility. Huntley has 904 passing yards with three passing touchdowns and 222 rushing yards and two rushing scores.
The Steelers and Ravens are both battling for their respective playoff lives. I’m sure the Ravens would be much more comfortable with their franchise quarterback but this is exactly what the Steelers need. Pittsburgh matches up well with Huntley and the defense should have a good shot at putting some serious heat on him if they can slow down the run.
