On Friday, both the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers had a final workout and presented their game status reports for this week’s opening weekend showdown. The Steelers listed only starting defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi as questionable as he continues to deal with a toe injury.
Meanwhile, the Niners have two starters listed as questionable on their injury report. Tight end George Kittle is working his way back from a groin injury but could be sidelined. And a new injury popped up this week with starting cornerback Charvarius Ward. He suffered a heel injury and is also listed as questionable.
Nick Bosa, Jake Moody and Talanoa Hufanga have been cleared to play in #SFvsPIT; George Kittle and Charvarius Ward are listed as questionable for Sunday.

The Niners have tons of weapons on offense so if Kittle is out or even limited, their offense probably won’t miss much in terms of production. However, if Ward cannot play or is limited, this could create an opportunity for wide receivers George Pickens and Diontae Johnson in the deep passing game.
