After two games, the Pittsburgh Steelers are atop the AFC North, with the Cleveland Browns on their heels. The Steelers have a chance to put a little separation between them in their home opener against the 2-0 L.A. Chargers this week.
These two teams last met in 2021: Ben Roethlisberger‘s final season and Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert’s first. The game ended in a shoot-out, with Los Angeles defeating Pittsburgh 41-37.
The result won’t be anything like that this time around, as the Steelers have (so far) been incapable of producing those kinds of points. As long as the defense keeps doing what it has been and Justin Fields can play mistake-free ball, it could be another close one.
