Now that the season is over for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the focus now turns to pending free agency and the 2020 NFL draft. The Steelers aren’t going into the offseason with a ton of cap space and will instead have to focus their energy on retaining some of their own free agents and instead try to fill the holes on the roster through the NFL draft.
We aren’t just talking about draft picks here. With no first-round pick the Steelers will have to be smart about how they address these needs in a way that adds talent and depth but at the same time keeps things light on the salary cap.
