The #Cowboys plan to give Garrett Gilbert and Cooper Rush reps in practice and pick one of them at week’s end to start at QB against the #Steelers, sources tell me and @RapSheet. It won’t be rookie Ben DiNucci, who struggled Sunday night. Playing to experience at the position.

When the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Dallas Cowboys it isn’t clear which quarterback the Steelers need to prepare for. Last week the Cowboys started Ben DiNucci but after an uninspired performance against the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas is going to open things up for this week.
Cowboys starting quarterback Andy Dalton remains in the concussion protocol so the Cowboys are going to have to decide if it’ll be Cooper Rush or Garrett Gilbert going against the best pass rush in the NFL. Rush and Gilbert are a combined 3-for-9 for 42 yards lifetime with 40 of those coming on one throw by Gilbert in 2018.
Dallas is currently 2-6 on the season and there seems to be no end in sight with Dak Prescott lost for the year. Meanwhile, the Steelers head into Dallas at 7-0 and one of the top teams in the league.
