Everything old is new again.
After letting punter Jordan Berry go before the start of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers decided maybe he wasn’t so bad after all. The Steelers announced on Saturday they were signing Berry back just a day after releasing veteran Dustin Colquitt.
Berry was the weak link on special teams and Pittsburgh was hoping the addition of Colquitt would help improve the special teams in a significant way. Instead Colquitt was actually worse than Berry which is shocking in unto itself. The Steelers had a punter, Corliss Waitman on the practice squad but decided not to call him up.
The Steelers also elevated running back Trey Edmunds and linebacker Jayrone Elliott to the roster for this week meaning they could be active for the game against the Tennessee Titans.
What do you say, Steeler Nation? Is the punting game better with Berry or should the Steelers have given rookie Corliss Waitman a shot? Let us know in the comments.
