The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed outside linebacker Jamir Jones to a one-year contract. Jones was a rotational edge rusher for the Steelers last season behind T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith.
Jones was largely ineffective in 2022, playing only 86 snaps in 17 games. He had 10 total tackles and zero sacks. Edge rusher is a serious offseason need as the Steelers pass rush was way down in 2022. Even with Jones back in the fold, look for Pittsburgh to add talent through free agency as well as the 2023 NFL draft.
The Steelers signed OLB Jamir Jones to a one year contract. Jones spent most of last season as tbd No.3 or 4 OLB in the rotation.
