Steelers send the big guns to Georgia’s pro day

The Bulldogs have several prospects of interest to the Steelers.

As is the case every year, the University of Georgia has one of the largest groups of draftable prospects in the country. 2023 is no exception and the Pittsburgh Steelers are making sure they don’t miss a thing when it comes to the Bulldog prospects for the NFL draft.

NFL Network reporter Sherree Burruss snapped the pic below of Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Omar Khan checking out the weightlifting at the Georgia pro day.

Georgia has several players of interest to the Steelers including defensive tackle Jalen Carter, who is near the top of every team’s draft board. But for Pittsburgh, the guys they could be keeping an even closer eye on are offensive tackle Broderick Jones and EDGE Nolan Smith. Both players could be on the board at No. 17 and each would will a significant need for the Steelers.

Some other prospects from Georgia for the Steelers to consider are cornerback Kelee Ringo, safety Christopher Smith and tight end Darnell Washington.
