The Pittsburgh Steelers took another step toward fortifying their offensive line by selecting Texas A&M offensive tackle Dan Moore Jr. with their first of two picks in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft.

Moore is a solid player and a natural fit as a zone-blocking tackle. He’s a finesse guy who sets up quickly and has natural hands for the position. He needs to get stronger and more physical as a run blocker and definitely needs to play with more of an edge in the run game.

Moore is the second offensive lineman the Steelers have drafted. The team took Kendrick Green to be the team’s eventual center in round three and the addition of Moore is likely looking ahead to 2022.
