You just knew it would happen.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have another pair of brothers on the team in 2022. Pittsburgh selected Michigan State tight end Connor Heyward with their sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft.

In case you haven’t been paying attention, Heyward is the younger brother of current Steelers star Cam Heyward. But make no mistake, this isn’t a publicity stunt. The younger Heyward can play. Heyward should be in the mix to work as both a reserve tight end as well as at running back.

This will be the fourth tandem of brothers on the roster in recent seasons. T.J. and Derek Watt, Terrell and Trey Edmunds and Carlos and Khalil Davis are the others.
