According to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson via Pro Football Network, the Pittsburgh Steelers have released rookie quarterback. All NFL teams are required to trim preseason rosters to 80 by the end of business today.

Oladokun had been just a camp body all summer but it felt like he might have a chance to hang on if the Steelers chose to cut Mason Rudolph loose. But Rudolph has played far too well for the Steelers to release him, which made Oladokun expendable. Oladokun was the Steelers seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft out of South Dakota State.
