Steelers QB Kenny Pickett plans to play vs Ravens: ‘I’ll be ready to go by Sunday’

Kenny Pickett suffered a knee injury last week but plans to play on on Sunday.

Last week, when Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett went down against the Houston Texans, the injury looked serious. He went down in a heap and I think everyone assumed the worst. Fast-forward just three days and Pickett says he will be good to go on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Pickett has a bone bruise on his knee and was wearing a brace when he spoke to the media on Wednesday. Pickett did note that he isn’t sure if he will be wearing the brace on Sunday.

This season has been a nightmare for Pickett and the rest of the Steelers offense. This is bizarre considering how well the starters played in preseason, going five for five on drives. Nevertheless, the Steelers offense is still in search of an identity and they will now trot out an injured Pickett against a Ravens team built to take advantage of any weakness.
