Roethlisberger on how he'll know when it's time for him to "hang it up:"
"I'll just let media people tell me, I guess. They seem to be coming up with all kinds of stories — not from my people or my camp."

Ben Roethlisberger is currently in his 17th season as the starting quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He holds every franchise passing record in franchise history and is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. So I suppose we have to give him a pass if he gets a little snarky with the media when the topic of when he’s planning to hang it up.
Roethlisberger has no one but himself to blame for being under scrutiny this season. His play has nosedived in recent weeks and after letting his frustration out in a postgame interview about his play, he just opens the door up to speculation.
The Steelers need to play better in these final two games of the season and it all starts with Roethlisberger. No one wants to admit when they are on the decline, especially when it hurts the team. Hopefully all this scrutiny will work to the Steelers advantage and inspire Roethlisberger to play better.
