Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger 60-1 odds to win 2020 NFL MVP

Steelers QB a longshot to win the MVP this season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers 2020 season hinges almost entirely on the health of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. If Roethlisberger can return to his 2018 form, this group will be a force to be reckoned with in 2020. But for now, Roethlisberger’s status is still unknown. Because of this, when Bet MGM put out their early MVP odds, Roethlisberger is a longshot at 60-1.

Pittsburgh lost Roethlisberger halfway through the 2019 season to an elbow injury. Once this happened, the defense stepped up but the offense fell flat. Pittsburgh rotated through two inexperienced quarterbacks but neither could approach the type of production Big Ben brings.

In 2018, Roethlisberger led the league in passing yards with 5,129. He also had 34 passing touchdowns and completed 67 percent of his attempts. I don’t know if anyone expects him to put up those kinds of numbers in 2020 but just seeing how the team fell off last year proves his value.
