The Pittsburgh Steelers snuck into the NFL playoffs in the final week of the 2021 season. The celebration was short-lived as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the brakes off of Pittsburgh in the first round of the playoffs.

But according to Steelers President Art Rooney II, just getting to the playoffs is a success regardless of how the season turns out. Rooney talked about the season and seemed pretty upbeat about how things turned out despite the final outcome.

“I’m never going to complain about a season where we make the playoffs,” Rooney said.

Comments like this are sure to incite a good chunk of the fanbase. For many fans, limping into the playoffs only to get blown out is absolutely something to complain about. And for others, the notion of finishing .500 or better every year without any real aspirations to make a deep run is a win.

But I want to pass it on to the fans. How would you characterize this past season? Let us know in the comments below.
