Due to a significant knee injury suffered in Wednesday’s game, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree’s season is over. Dupree suffered a torn ACL near the end of the Steelers 19-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens and on Thursday the Steelers put him on the Reserve/Injured list.

Dupree is second on the team in sacks with eight and along with T.J. Watt form the most formidable pass-rushing duo in the NFL. Dupree was playing the 2020 season on the franchise tag and was on pace to cash in big in free agency in 2021.

With Dupree done for the year, the spotlight is now on Alex Highsmith who will replace him in the starting lineup.

To replace Dupree on the roster, the Steelers promoted rookie safety Antoine Brooks Jr. to the 53-man roster.
