Villanueva switched to a flip phone this year. Every time he looked at his old phone he would get upset. He likes being disconnected from the world. He's said he's somewhere between a milennial & an Amish person. And he clarified he does have internet access; just no social media

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva has decided to disconnect from the drama of social media. According to Steelers beat writer Ray Fittipaldo, Villanueva opted to go old school and switch to a flip phone and do his best to disconnect from the work and all the media-generated drama surrounding this team and its struggles in recent weeks.
Villanueva has cut himself loose from the internet and social media with all the recent news to help clear his mind and avoid getting upset every time he looked at his phone.
The Steelers offensive line has struggled in recent weeks to do anything to benefit the run game. Despite being one of the best pass-blocking groups in the NFL, injuries and age has hobbled this group in terms of physicality and run blocking. Early in the season the Steelers have some success running the ball using schemes suited to the speed on the outside but those concepts have been abandoned.
