Throughout training camp and much of the preseason, we’ve been operating on the assumption that it was Broderick Jones and Dan Moore battling for the starting left tackle job and Chuks Okorafor was safe on the right side.
Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada addressed the media on Saturday and gave the impression that the team is going to put the best two offensive tackles on the field and if that happens to be Jones and Moore, so be it.
“We’ve got three really good tackles competing for those jobs,” Canada said. “Chuks and Dan have played a lot of football for us, Broderick is coming in and battling.”
In two weeks the Steelers take on the San Francisco 49ers in Week One of the regular season. We can’t wait to see who ends up in the starting lineup.
