According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers are losing a second outside linebacker to the Tennessee Titans. First, the Titans sign Bud Dupree to a huge free-agent contract and now they are planning to sign Ola Adeniyi to a one-year deal.

Adeniyi fell completely out of favor with the Steelers coaches last season. After showing some promise early in the season, Adeniyi saw almost no snaps when Dupree tore his ACL. The team turned to Alex Highsmith and Adeniyi was the odd man out. Adeniyi was a restricted free agent but the team chose not to tender him.

In Tennessee, Adeniyi should have a better chance at playing time but the certainty that Adeniyi isn’t returning means Pittsburgh must add depth at the position behind T.J. Watt and Highsmith.
