The pick of former Penn State tight end Pat Freiermuth by the Pittsburgh Steelers has drawn some sharp criticism by NFL draft pundits and fans alike. But if it makes you feel any better the best tight end in Steelers franchise history seems to be OK with the choice.
The Steelers put out this video of Pittsburgh legend wishing Freiermuth luck and telling him how much he will love playing in Pittsburgh.
If Freiermuth is going to be a success in Pittsburgh he is going to need to step up his game in multiple areas but it will also be incumbent on the Steelers coaches to incorporate him more heavily into the offense than in previous seasons.
