The Pittsburgh Steelers begin preparations for this week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers but the staff isn’t slowing down in tweaking the roster. According to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson, the Steelers had four free agents in for workouts.
Linebacker Mitchell Agude was on the Miami Dolphins roster after signing as an undrafted free agent. He was released by the Dolphins in the final cuts. Agude played his college ball at the University of Miami in 2022.
Cornerback Kalon Barnes is a speedster out of Baylor. Barnes was a seventh-round pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2022. Barnes also spent part of 2022 with the Minnesota Vikings and was on the active roster or two games.

Kelle Sanders is a linebacker who played college ball at UAB. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. Sanders is an edge rusher and outside linebacker.
Finally, we have former Chicago Bears linebacker Mykal Walker. Unlike the other three defenders the Steelers had in, Walker is an established NFL player. The Atlanta Falcons selected Walker in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft out of Fresno State. Walker has 187 total tackles in 20 starts and 49 career games.
