The Pittsburgh Steelers kick off the NFL season on Thursday night taking on the Dallas Cowboys in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. Prior to the game, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin spoke on the Steelers Nation Radio pregame on the Mike Tomlin Show and used a unique term to describe his team so far in training camp.

“I like their competes”, Tomlin said. Tomlin referred to it as a scouting term and has been very happy with the level of competitiveness this team has shown in training camp.

Pittsburgh is looking to put a disappointing 2020 season behind them. After starting the season 11-0, the wheels fell off and Pittsburgh found themselves limping into the playoffs, only to suffer an embarrassing loss to the Cleveland Browns in the first round.
