Steelers have loose hold of NFL power rankings after ugly win

Despite a near-loss over a statistically bad team in the Dallas Cowboys, the Steelers remain in the top spot.

It’s hard to argue that the only undefeated team in the NFL should fall in the Power Rankings — even if it was an ugly win.

It is also not enough to drop them out of the top spot. Yet. But some cracks might be appearing in the foundation. They remain in the top spot due to their unblemished record and how they found a way to win on Sunday, behind 15 points in the fourth quarter and three touchdowns from Ben Roethlisberger. But whether they remain there is less certain than it was a week ago.

Cracks are most definitely appearing. Nevertheless, the Steelers are unbeaten and will look to continue that success as they host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
