Kevin Colbert doesn’t mince words. @AB84 is NOT going to play again for the Steelers. #NFLNow @nflnetwork pic.twitter.com/zu9pwT5HpX

If any Pittsburgh Steelers fans were holding out hope for a reunion between the Steelers and Antonio Brown, you can probably put those dreams aside. Pittsburgh GM Kevin Colbert spoke on Tuesday and when NFL reporter Andrew Siciliano mentioned the idea of Brown trying to build a bridge with Pittsburgh, Colbert made the team’s stance very clear.
According to Colbert, Brown will always be a Steeler and they will always care about him as a person. But the team will not be pursuing Brown to return tot he Steelers as a player.
Brown spent nine seasons in Pittsburgh and become one of the most prolific wide receivers in the league. His six-season stretch from 2013-2018 was the best in league history. But Brown’s massive but fragile ego did him in and forced the Steelers to trade him to the Las Vegas Raiders. His career completely spiraled out of control and now he finds himself doing damage control to try to salvage his NFL career.
