Steelers extend season ticket renewal deadline

The Pittsburgh Steelers are among NFL teams giving fans a slight break on season ticket payments.

Steelers fans now have an additional month to pay for their season tickets due to the financial uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Associated Press, 28 of 32 teams have allowed their season-ticket holders to delay their next payment by at least a month.

Only three teams — the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, and San Fransisco 49ers — are, so far, standing pat on payments due.

In an email to season-ticket holders, the Steelers wrote:

As a valued season ticket holder of the Pittsburgh Steelers, we understand the current situation with COVID-19 is a challenging one for our local community and for our fans around the world.

You recently received the renewal information for your 2020 season tickets with a payment deadline of Friday, May 1. Given the uncertainty of the current situation, we are extending that payment deadline to Monday, June 1.

Should you have any questions, you may contact us via email atSTH@steelers.com or call 412-785-7773. We are working remotely and are available to help.

We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at Heinz Field this fall.
