To be honest it’s hard for me to be cool with guys on other teams. Some I’ve made bonds that extend outside of football but if you ain’t rocking with my team then you’re my enemy. Sorry just deal with it lol

As if we needed another reason to love Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward, he comes through again. For many of us old-school NFL fans, this trend of NFL players on opposing teams being best pals doesn’t sit well. The jersey swaps at the end of the game and all the talking during the game like old friends diminishes something about what the game should be about.
And it seems Heyward agrees. He admits it is hard for him to be cool with guys on other teams. I love that he refers to them as the enemy and doesn’t apologize for it. This mentality has been lost in the current state of the NFL and honestly, that isn’t a good thing for the game.
Heyward is the undisputed leader on one of the best defenses in the NFL. If he says not to be nice to the opposition, his teammates should probably listen to him.
