The Steelers have to love to see Tyson Alualu back on the field.

Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers defensive line took two huge hits. Everyone talks about how much the defense missed Stephon Tuitt, but a loss just as big was that of defensive tackle Tyson Alualu.

Alualu had stayed with the Steelers last year under rather unusual circumstances. He had originally planned to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the offseason, but a delay in heading to Jacksonville to sign gave Alualu’s teammates a chance to talk him into returning to the Steelers.

Unfortunately, in the second game of the season, Alualu suffered an ankle injury that cost him the final 15 games.

But as you can see from the pic below, Alualu is back. With Tuitt’s status uncertain for this season, the 35-year-old former first-round pick will be counted on heavily to work in with Chris Wormley, Montravius Adams and Isaiahh Loudermilk to help out All-Pro Cam Heyward in the trenches.
