'I'm excited to be back and put my hand in the pile.' – Stephon Tuitt

The injury to Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger really overshadowed another serious loss last season. Defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt was having his best season as a pro and was on pace for big numbers when a pec injury cost him the final 10 games of the year.
Fortunately, despite the loss of Tuitt, the Steelers defense still stood tall as one of the best in the NFL. With Tuitt’s return, this group is going to be even scarier for opposing offenses.
Tuitt spoke to the media on Wednesday and said he’s healthy and ready to get back into it. There’s some pressure on Tuitt to perform. Through six seasons, Tuitt has never played a full 16 games. Tuitt also has the third-largest salary cap hit on the team this season. Pittsburgh already has Cam Heyward on one side and the tandem of Heyward and Tuitt is as good as it gets in the NFL for 3-4 defensive linemen.
If the Steelers can get Tuitt at full strength for a full season, this defense is going to be all-but-impossible to scheme for.
