Thanks to Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters not wanting to participate in the 2020 Pro Bowl, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joe Haden will now have the opportunity to play. The team announced Haden’s addition on Wednesday.
Haden had his best season since joining the season and this is his third Pro Bowl. It is his first time making the roster since joining the Steelers in 2017. Haden once again proved to be among the top cornerbacks in the AFC and the clear leader of the Steelers secondary. He had five interceptions in 2019, his second-highest total since his rookie season.
Haden joins safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, defensive tackle Cam Heyward and linebacker T.J. Watt as defensive representatives on the defensive side of the AFC ball.
