According to agent Brett Tressler, the Pittsburgh Steelers have signed tight end Kyle Markway to a one-year contract. The Steelers hard Markway in for a workout earlier in the week.

Markway was an undrafted free agent in 2019 signed originally by the New York Giants. According to his agent, Markway lost out due to numbers with the Giants and hopes to hand on with the Steelers.

On paper, Markway is the ideal Steelers tight end prospect. He’s a smart, high-character guy who offers very little in the passing attack but is a strong blocker.

Markway joins Vance McDonald, Eric Ebron, Zach Gentry, Kevin Rader and Dax Raymond on the Steelers tight end depth chart.
