According to NFL reporters Mike Garofolo and Aditi Kinkhabwala, the Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing back starting right tackle Chuks Okorafor and keeping him from testing the market in free agency.

Okorafor has been the Steelers starting right tackle for the past two seasons. Last season, Okorafor played 1,078 snaps and had 11 penalties. Okorafor also allowed only two sacks on 664 pass snaps.

Getting Okorafor back under contract basically cements the starting offensive tackles for the future with Dan Moore Jr. on the left. This move will have a real impact on the direction the Steelers go early in the 2022 NFL draft. The Steelers also still have Zach Banner under contract but he could end up a salary-cap casualty.
