General manager Omar Khan continues to work his magic on rebuilding the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback room.
On Saturday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Chicago Bears are trading Justin Fields to the Steelers for a 2025 6th-round pick that goes to a 4th if he plays in 51 percent of snaps this season.
This couldn’t be a more ideal situation for the Steelers or the young former first-rounder. Fields has struggled in Chicago, to say the least, but now he gets to sit back and learn from a seasoned veteran in Russell Wilson.
It’s a match made in NFL heaven.
Trade condition update: The 2025 6th-round pick that the Steelers traded to the Bears for Justin Fields will become a 4th-round pick if he plays in 51 percent of the plays this season, per source. https://t.co/mwHyivli7I
