Kyle O’Quinn
O’Quinn was brought in to be an upgrade behind Joel Embiid off the bench, but with Al Horford also here and able to play both power forward and center, there is no real need for O’Quinn. He is averaging 3.3 points and 3.8 rebounds and his main contribution to the team is being a good locker room presence, which is a good thing to have, but they also can go on without it.
If the Sixers really want to have a backup big man option, they can look at somebody like JaMychal Green who is an upgrade. O’Quinn is currently in a position where he can choose. There can be other options for him out there or he can take a smaller pay to play for a contender. Put him down as a 50/50 option.
Prediction: 50/50 and could go either way [lawrence-related id=30752,30746,30726]
