During the Golden State Warriors’ preseason finale against the Portland Trail Blazers, Steph Curry sent a message to the rest of the league. The 2021 Most Valuable Player finalist looked in midseason form, torching the Trail Blazers for 41 points in only 30 minutes off action.
During Curry’s run, the seven-time All-Star was locked in, shooting 13-of-23 from the floor with nine rebounds, two assists and two steals. However, Curry did turn the ball over four times.
Curry was heating up from long distance, drilling seven triples on 14 attempts from beyond the arc against Portland.
In the second quarter, Curry heated up for a signature flurry of points, scoring 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field in only six minutes.
The point guard finished the contest with a +22 in Golden State’s 119-97 win in the final preseason dress rehearsal.
