The UNC football team took care of business against Syracuse yesterday, dominating them in every aspect of a 40-7 thumping. With the victory, Carolina moved to its first 5-0 start since 1997.
The Miami Hurricanes were also expected to take care of business against Georgia Tech, coming off a 38-27 loss to a then 1-win Bowling Green football squad, but instead saw a play-calling blunder lead to a Yellow Jackets walk-off touchdown.
Both schools are playing on Saturday, Oct. 14 under the bright lights of Kenan Stadium. Fans were waiting for the start time of this highly-anticipated contest between two of the ACC’s best, but know they finally know – 7:30 p.m. ET, in front of a national audience on ABC.

UNC has the slight upper-hand in this rivalry, with a 15-11 advantage, including wins in the last four meetings. Last year in Miami Gardens, Carolina held off a late Hurricanes rally for a 27-24 victory.
Drake Maye is coming off his best performance of the season, while Miami is looking to avenge a painful loss. Carolina has its sights set on something far greater than the ACC title, while Miami is hoping to get back to its early 2000’s dominance era.
It’s going to be another thriller in Chapel Hill. If you can’t make it to the game, I highly suggest you watch it on TV.
