Kentucky football’s bowl chances have come down to a point that fans were hoping to avoid. If they want to make it to a postseason game for the ninth straight season, they’ll have to go through the Texas Longhorns.
The Longhorns comes into the game with a 9 – 1 record, and they’re ranked third in the US LBM Coaches Poll. They’ve been one of the best teams in college football all season long. It will take Kentucky’s best effort to even be competitive, much less win it.

Texas 38 – Kentucky 13
It would be nice to see the Wildcats pull off another massive upset and save their season. It’s not realistic, however. Kentucky’s offense has been atrocious against SEC foes, and there’s no reason to think it will suddenly be fixed against the conference’s best team.

Texas 30 – Kentucky 10
Texas is one of the best teams in the nation, but Kentucky is no slouch. This is the same Wildcats football team that beat Ole Miss and nearly knocked off the Georgia Bulldogs in September. Texas will win, but Kentucky won’t get dogwalked.
