Tennessee junior wide receiver Squirrel White entered the NCAA transfer portal following the conclusion of the Vols’ 2024 football season.
White committed to Florida State following entering the NCAA transfer portal. He will play for head coach Mike Norvell and offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn.
2025 will be Malzahn’s first season as the Seminoles’ offensive coordinator. He served as Auburn’s head coach from 2013-20.
White appeared in 38 games for the Vols from 2022-24. He recorded 131 receptions for 1,665 yards and six touchdowns.
The 5-foot-10, 167-pound wide receiver went to Tennessee from Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, Alabama.
Florida State will open its 2025 football season on Aug. 30. The Seminoles will host Alabama at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida.
