Square Enix announces Final Fantasy XIV 6.3 release date

Square Enix revealed the FFXIV 6.3 release date during the latest live letter and outlined a bit of what to expect from the MMO’s new update

The Final Fantasy XIV 6.3 release date is coming up fast, Square Enix announced during the MMO game’s latest live letter update. FFXIV 6.3, officially called Gods Revel, Lands Tremble, will release on Jan. 10, 2023, bringing with it new main scenario quests, trials, an alliance raid, and much more.

The FFXIV 6.3 main scenario quests see the Warrior of Light meet a half-voidsent woman named Zero who joins the party for a while as they recover at the Source, before setting out to find Azdaja. If you’re after something a bit more lighthearted, 6.3 also continues the side quest chains Tataru’s Grand Endeavor and Tales of Newfound Adventure.

The new 24-player Alliance Raid adds the second part of Mythic Realms, Euphrosyne, and on Jan. 24, 2023, you can team up to take on the new Ultimate Raid against an enhanced version of Omega.

A new dungeon, Lapis Manalis, is also making its debut, and the Duty Support system, where you can team up with an AI-controlled party without waiting in a queue, will be available for all Heavensward dungeons.

All this is in addition to Gold Saucer updates, a new crystalline conflict update, and a new treasure hunt dungeon, but even that’s not all.  Patch 6.35 will launch sometime later and add Lopporitt tribal quests and a new deep dungeon.
