The San Antonio Spurs continue to stockpile young players in this 2024 NBA draft. They entered the draft looking to add talent around superstar big man Victor Wembanyama and they have done so with their selections in this draft.
After taking Stephon Castle No. 4 overall in Round 1 of the draft on Wednesday, the Spurs acquired Spanish guard Juan Nunez with the No. 36 selection, and have now selected an athlete out of North Carolina in Harrison Ingram at pick No. 48.
Ingram averaged 12.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 steals. He is a versatile player who stands at 6-foot-6 and has a 7-foot wingspan. He is very intelligent starting his collegiate career at Stanford before transferring to North Carolina.

The Spurs will continue to build around Wemby. He is the one who will control anything San Antonio does in this upcoming offseason. It is a solid draft for the organization, but they will still need to mesh as a unit.
